Videographers
• Videographers should be unobtrusive and appropriately dressed during the wedding ceremony.
• The set up time allowed is 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.
• There are approximately 13 stairs leading up to the church.
• The personal lift is not available for the movement of any equipment.
• Please introduce yourself to the sacristan and the wedding volunteers.
• The sacristan must be consulted before using any electricity near the altar!
• Videographers are not allowed in the sanctuary area during the ceremony. Old St. Pat’s asks the videographer to not be a distraction to the wedding ceremony.
• Camera(s) may be positioned on the south side aisle at the end of the ramp, the back of the center aisle and/or in the balcony.
• Artificial lights or flash photography are not permitted during the ceremony. Videographers must work with the church’s lighting conditions.
• The equipment must be completely broken down by twenty minutes after the hour, (e.g., for a 11 a.m., 1, 3 and 5 p.m. wedding, the photographer must be done by 12:20, 2:20, 4:20, 6:20 p.m. respectively) in order to allow the set up for the next wedding.
• Old St. Pat’s staff — not the visiting priest, not a professional wedding consultant — has the final word regarding placement of equipment, time restrictions, etc.
• A vendor guidline/policy form is included in your wedding planning booklet. Please ask videographer to read, sign and return to Old St. Patrick's before you sign the contract.
