- From the North and Northwest Suburbs
- Take either the Kennedy or Edens Expressway (I90/94) east. Exit at Monroe Street. Turn left from the ramp on to Monroe Street. Go east one block (over the expressway) to the first stoplight, Des Plaines Street. Old St. Patrick’s is located one block south on Des Plaines at Adams Street.
- From the West and Western Suburbs
- Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I290) to the Kennedy Expressway exit (I90/94). Proceed on the ramp; exit at Monroe Street, the first exit off the ramp. Turn right (east) on Monroe. At the first stoplight, Des Plaines Street, turn right again. St. Patrick’s is located one block south on Des Plaines at Adams Street.
- From the South and Far Southwest Suburbs
- Take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I90/94) north to Monroe Street. Turn right (east) on Monroe. At the first stoplight, Des Plaines Street, turn right again. St. Patrick’s is located one block south on Des Plaines at Adams Street.
- From the Near North or South Sides
- Take any north/south street to Adams Street which is one-way westbound. Go west to Des Plaines Street which is four blocks west of Sears Tower.
- From State and Madison Street
- Take the #20 Madison Street bus west. Exit at Des Plaines Streets - Downtown. Walk two blocks south to Adams Street. Old St. Patrick’s is located on the corner of Des Plaines and Adams Streets.
- Parking
- There is some parking on the weekends on the streets immediately surrounding Old St. Patrick’s. Parking meters operate on Saturdays until 6 pm. There are also parking lots on the northeast and southeast corners of Adams and Des Plaines Streets. Old St. Pat’s preferred parking is in the lot on the Southeast corner of Adams and Des Plaines.
