Candles
Old St. Patrick’s has 12 6 1/2' aisle candles which can be placed down the side aisles or the center aisle the alongside the pews. These are available for a rental of $100. Once the candles have been placed by staff, they cannot be moved for safety reasons.
If you will be lighting a Wedding Unity candle during your liturgy, please bring it to the rehearsal or the wedding, and give it to the volunteer wedding assistant. We suggest a pillar candle between 12" and 18" high. Two small tapers will be provided, they will be placed on a small glass dish beside your candle. Wedding candles may be purchased through our online shop www.oldstpats.org or at religious goods, candle or greeting card stores. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for Unity candles left at the Church after a wedding; it is yours to keep as a remembrance of this special day, so please remember to designate someone to be responsible for taking the candle with you.
