Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Mindfulness quiets the minds; and, integrates Spiritual, Contemplative practices into daily life. Mindfulness can enable anyone to feel in charge of their life; and, connect to their own innate wisdom and joy. Every moment is meaningful. Developing “Present Moment Awareness” can lead to transformation, happiness; and, peace amidst this one, complex, human life.

About the MBSR Program
Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn founded the Stress Reduction Program at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1979. He in effect, translated a daily Spiritual discipline, into a highly respected, internationally known program supporting greater health and well-being; and as a result, the decrease of suffering. Over thirty years of evidence-based research has shown that these Contemplative practices can enable one to experience balance, clarity, and living wholeheartedly with joy.
