Cheer the Crossroads Runners Team!

Old St. Pat’s is proud of the 108 runners who are part of the Inaugural Crossroads Runners Team  who will be participating in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Sunday, October 9, on behalf of Old St. Pat’s Outreach Mission.  Please join Old St. Pat’s in recognizing these runners for their dedication, fortitude and support as we extend our blessings and best wishes for a successful run next Sunday.

Old St. Pat’s is once again hosting a Cheering Section on Sunday, October 9 for Bank of America Chicago Marathon.   We invite you to join us as we  encourage and cheer the runners passing the half-way point at Old St. Pat’s. Please wear something GREEN to ensure a memorable cheering section for the runners.

• The Marathon begins at 7:30 a.m. on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9.
• Adams and Des Plaines Streets will be closed to traffic during the morning Masses.
• There is plenty of parking available in the lots on the northwest and southeast corners of Monroe Street and Des Plaines.
• At the 5 p.m. Mass on Sunday, October 9, we will offer a blessing for the speedy recovery of the aches and pains endured by the runners.
• Following Mass, there will be a reception in the Church Hall.
