Description

Join us as Rev. John Cusick leads us into a deeper appreciation of the meaning and power of the Passion Narratives.

Beginning with the highly charged drama of the Last Supper, we will trace the actions of Jesus at the Garden of Gethsemane, to his interrogation by the religious and the imperial authorities, and finally through his suffering and death at Golgotha.

We also will consider the many and varied reactions of those who witnessed and influenced the events of The Passion including:  the disciples, Mary and the soldiers, Judas and Pilate, and the crowds that filled the streets.

We invite you to allow this informative and thought provoking presentation to become a part of your preparations for the celebration of the Paschal Triduum.

The program is presented free of charge and no advance registration is required.

Rev. John Cusick serves as director of The Young Adult Ministry Office for the Archdiocese of Chicago.  In addition to his work with young adults throughout the Archdiocese, Rev. Cusick plays an important role in shaping the life of Old St. Patrick's Church.  Those of us who gather at Old St. Patrick's know and appreciate him for his gifts of preaching, leadership, creativity, and compassionate service he so generously shares with us.
