Old St. Pat's and Share Your Soles Partner
to Collect Shoes for Haiti
Sunday, Jan. 31 and Sunday, Feb. 7
Old St. Pat's will collect walking or gym shoes and sandals for Haiti on Sunday, Jan. 31 and Sunday, Feb. 7. Please bring your gently used shoes to Old St. Pat's and give them to the volunteers in front of the church. These shoes will be cleaned, processed, and sent to those in need.
Because of the earthquake's destruction and lack of sanitation, people need to protect their feet from injury. Even a minor cut, under the current conditions, can turn into something more serious such as gangrene and amputation.
Please be part of the Old St. Pat's response to the Haiti disaster by donating:
- gently used walking or gym shoes and sandals;
- laundry detergent to wash gym shoes;
- quarters for the laundromat;
- bleach to disinfect shoes.
