...for Couples Who Will Be Married at Old St. Patrick's, and Old St. Pat's Members Who Will Be Married In Other Churches.
We are delighted and honored you have chosen to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage at Old St. Pat's. It is our firm belief the mystery of God's love will be experienced and demonstrated by you in wonderful, powerful, and surprising ways in your marriage.
Old St. Patrick's Church is inviting all couples who will be married at Old St. Patrick's, as well as Old St. Pat's members who will be married in other churches, to a new PreCana Program. This program will fulfill the requirements of the Archdiocese of Chicago by asking engaged couples to participate in a pre-marriage education seminar. The program is administered by Old St. Pat's staff and married couples and this approach makes our program unique!
We believe you will be pleased by the program, and enjoy meeting other engaged couples who also will be married at Old St. Pat's.
Another part of the program is experiencing the Foccus pre-marriage inventory, a wonderful tool designed to promote your conversation about many aspects of the delightful journey
of marriage.
The program is scheduled on three consecutive Sunday afternoons from 2 - 4:45 p.m., followed by an invitation to attend the 5 p.m. Mass.
The program dates are as follows:
Aug. 9, 16, and 23, 2009;
Nov. 1, 8, and 15, 2009;
Feb. 21, 28, and March 7, 2010.
