Old St. Pat’s World’s Largest Block Party

It’s time again for the 24th annual World’s Largest Block Party, which will be held on Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19 from 5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.  Over 18,000 people will meet, mingle and dance while enjoying two stages of live music, two nights filled with fun, and two blocks of great food at low prices.

Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the gate, if the event is not sold-out. There is also a two-night pass available for $65. A ticket includes five beverages with a choice of beer, wine, soda or bottled water. The entry gate is located at Madison and Des Plaines in Chicago’s West Loop. The 2008 headliner bands will be announced on WXRT in mid-June. Past performances include: Rusted Root, Cake, Los Lobos, Cheap Trick, Sonya Kitchell, BoDeans and much, much more. Proceeds support Old St. Pat’s mission of community hospitality and benefit the church and outreach programs.
